Joe Lonsdale is the Founder and Managing Partner at 8VC, a venture capital firm managing over $6 billion. He previously co-founded Palantir Technologies and has launched several successful companies including Addepar, which manages over $7 trillion in assets and OpenGov, which recently sold for $1.8 billion. With his wife Tayler, he founded the Cicero Institute, a non-partisan policy organization and serves as founding chairman of the University of Austin. Joe, Tayler, and their five children reside in Austin, TX.

Shaun & Liana Maguire

Partner, Sequoia Capital

Shaun Maguire is a Partner at Sequoia Capital. At Sequoia he led their investments into SpaceX, The Boring Company, X, xAI, AMP Robotics, Bridge, Decart, Eon, Factory, Vise, Lightmatter and others. Prior to Sequoia, Shaun co-founded Expanse, a cybersecurity company that was acquired by Palo Alto Networks for $1B. Shaun has also held positions at GV and DARPA. Shaun earned a BS in Mathematics from the University of Southern California, an MS in Statistics from Stanford University, an MS in Control and Dynamical Systems from Caltech and a PhD in Physics from Caltech.

Adam Shapiro

Investor, Oaktree Capital Management Founder & Chairman, Start-Up Nation Mentorship

Adam Shapiro is a Real Estate Private Equity Investor at Oaktree Capital. Previously, Adam served as an Investor on the Real Estate Credit Team at KKR in New York City. Adam is also the Founder & Chairman of Start-Up Nation Mentorship, an organization that connects Israel with the world’s most promising non-Jewish young leaders and bridges geopolitical divides. Adam holds a B.S. Summa Cum Laude from Cornell University.
